I was a Production Assistant on “The Price is Right” Season 43.
I had physically snail mailed my resume to many shows and production companies to try and get a summer internship. The Price is Right kept my resume until the Fall when they were hiring for Season 43. I didn’t know anyone on the production but had a great interview with the Producer and got the job. I started in July of 2014.
The Price is Right is the longest running Entertainment Game Show on CBS. The Host is Drew Carey. It was filmed at Television City in Los Angeles. Produced by FremantleMedia.
Co-Executive Producers were Mike Richards and Evelyn Warfel.
Producer/Director was Adam Sandler. (not the actor Adam Sandler😆)
Line Producer was Sue McIntyre.
My responsibilities included receptionist, answering the phones, greeting guests, stocking the fridge, getting lunch orders. Any runs or errands needed. Printing scripts and show run-downs. Delivering payroll paperwork to the off site Accountants. Picking which episodes plays for the audience so that it didn’t match any of that days answers.
