“Jefferies” was a Multicam Pilot, and the first project I worked on as a Production Coordinator after Will & Grace wrapped with the same Producer.

There was a different Pilot “Nigh School” with a separate crew prepping on the same massive stage as us. It was very unusual we were sharing the massive sound stage that belonged to “The Voice”. We were sharing the department support rooms in the middle, but we had our own audience bleachers and sets on our half and them, their half. Also our production office were the Dressing rooms on the first floor.
This was during February and March of 2020. There was a lot of uncertainty surrounding COVID. The cast had met only once for a private pre-read at someone’s home. The Studio Network Table Read was scheudled to be the follwoing week. And suddenly we were being told to tell the crew not to report to work.
After 3 months of the unknown and studios developing COVID protocols for production to get back to work. They decided to not move forward with making the “Jefferies” pilot.
I did return to work for 1 week to breakdown the production office. Which was my first time COVID testing to be able to go to work and wearing a mask at work.
